About Neil

Neil originally started in product design but got more into drawing the products than designing them!
After a period down south in manufacturing industry and product design consultancy, Neil was encouraged by the PYSBT to
move away from the technical side and go freelance in order to develop his graphic art, illustration, cartoon and caricature art
skills. This has led to an interesting and exciting journey which has allowed him to develop his own style working as an
illustrator, designer and caricaturist for a range of organisations large and small.

He still draws by hand but increasingly the drawings tend to be scanned and coloured on his mac using a wacom tablet.
For live caricature events he uses the Pentel Sign Pen and the humble Berol fine and broad pens.
Neil offers a personal service where the client deals direct with the designer and his freelance status offers cost benefits
without the overheads of a larger office based company.
Neil also have a track record working as a freelance designer and illustrator for a range of design, advertising and marketing consultants.
This experience has proved invaluable to agencies who require an experienced, creative individual with the ability to take on a brief at short
notice. Neil is brought in, often at very short notice! to cover holidays, staff absence, heavy workload and to provide a source of fresh
creative idea's. No full time overheads, just hire him when you need him!
