F.A.Q's

This page aims to answer some key questions if you are considering booking a

caricaturist for your event. Call Neil on 07967 910388

or email info@neilsart.co.uk to discuss your caricature requirements!

How many guests can be caricatured at my event?

Neil can caricature between 25-30 guests over a 2 hour period which creates quite

an impact on a party of 100 or so guests. Friends and family looking on are often

just as entertained if not more than the person or couple having their caricature drawn!

How are the caricatures presented to the guests?

The caricatures are presented to the guests in black ink on A4 or A3 paper. Neil can

advise on framing options if required. On occasion at weddings at Neil is requested to

place completed caricatures at the venue reception for the bride and groom to create

a framed montage after the wedding day. This is then emailed or posted out to the

guests as part of a thank you card.

Do guests queue for caricatures or do you mix and mingle with the crowd?

Neil generally prefers to mingle with the guests but is happy to work from a fixed

position during the day depending on circumstances and the type of event.

What types of service do you offer?

On the spot' caricatures

'On the spot' caricatures provided to the guests at weddings, parties and corporate

events. Neil chats and mingles with the guests providing 'on the spot' caricatures by

request. He can tailor his service to suit the event. The most popular choice is a 2 hour

period during a drinks reception or party. He can also stay on beyond the standard

2 hour period should you require it.

Colour commissions

Colour caricature portraits commissioned for weddings, celebrations and company

events. This is presented as digital artwork and as a print at any size. Group caricatures

are also popular for family and company events. Caricature drawings are ideal for

celebrating family occasions, company events such as retirals and for weddings as

favours, stationary or as a guests signing board which becomes a framed momento

of the wedding day. Neil can advise on framing and organise the necessary printing

should you prefer.

Are the bride and groom caricatured on the day?

Neil always likes to caricature the bride and groom as a finale before he leaves.

For various reasons this is not always possible as the bride and groom are in high

demand throughout their wedding day, (especially by the wedding photographer!)

If you wish to be drawn please request beforehand.

How do I book?

If you wish to go ahead and book please email a request and you will be emailed

booking details including a booking form and information about deposit payment.
